About Us
Established and grounded in the Denton area, Access 1st Capital Bank is bringing community back to banking. Since opening in October 2007, the bank led by a local and influential Board of Directors and very experienced Management Team has focused on the needs of the community and has become a bank that makes decisions that are good for the community as well as the bank and its investors. Access 1st Capital Bank has reached a series of significant milestones from the initial startup culminating with exciting new opportunities in 2010.
Key Milestones
- October 22, 2007 – Access 1st Capital Bank begins operations
- March 2008 – Access 1st Capital Bank opens Dallas loan production office
- August 2008 – Access 1st Capital Bank breaks ground for Denton headquarters building
- October 2008 –Access 1st Capital Bank One Year Anniversary with total assets of $60 million dollars.
- August 2009 – Access 1st Capital Bank assets top $100 million dollars.
- August 2009 – Access 1st Capital Bank opens headquarters building in Denton
- December 2009 – Access 1st Capital bank ends second full year of operations with total assets of $112,946,105 and deposits of $103,563,466.
In two short years and despite a down economy, Access 1st Capital Bank is well-positioned and well capitalized in preparing for this new wave of growth. Projections of dramatic growth in North Texas indicate that this area will continue to grow and lead the nation in economic growth over the next ten years.
